Adapter kits are available to convert Headshok frames to accommodate 1.5", tapered, or 1 1/8" steerer forks. These kits include cartridge bearings, crown race, and upper bearing top cover.
To convert a Lefty or Headshok frame to use a standard 1.5-1 1/8 tapered fork, this headset kit is necessary. It is compatible with SI frames that have the Headshok headset bearing directly inserted into the frame without the need for cups. Frames such as Rize/RZ, Scalpel 29, F-Si series, and some Carbon Bikes can utilize this adapter kit.
If your frame has black cups with System Integration written on them pressed into the frame, this kit will work for you. However, it will press into those cups and result in an increased stack height.
